Weimaraners are extremely smart and will easily learn with even a small amount of training. They are versatile dogs and will adapt to all environments.
My husband had a pair of Weimaraners for years that were well known in his part of the country as working dogs. Oddly enough, they were cattle working dogs. Weimaraners have a natural ability to bird hunt but can be taught anything. His Weimaraners were very protective but our dogs now don't know any strangers. We got our first breeding Weimaraners 7 years ago and love to watch the pups. They don't look like Weimaraners until they get 3 months old when their ears and noses start growing.
