This is Frosty. She was our original Great Pyrenees female. Most of our dogs are decendents from her. She was a really big dog. She weighed 155 pounds when she was in her prime. We lost her to cancer in March of 2010. She was almost 12 years old.
Great Pyrenees remains are found in the fossil deposits of the Bronze Age, which roughly dates his appearance in Europe between 1800 and 1000 B.C., although it is believed that he came originally from Central Asia or Siberia and followed the Aryan migration into Europe.
