ROCKY THE BIKER

ROCKY DRESSED UP

The pictures above are of Rocky dressed in his biker outfit, he had a real leather Harley Jacket, and matching Harley Hat, that were hand made. He is the only dog I ever had that would wear a hat. He didn't care, as long as he was with me, he was happy.

BABY ROCKY

This is a picture of Rocky as a little baby, he had just started to blossom into the handsome little love of my life. I do thank God for letting me have him in my life as long as he did.

These are some pictures of my precious Rocky that I lost October 3, 2006. He was the closest thing to a child I have ever known. He was born on October 26th of 1998. He was a very tiny little thing, and his mommy didn't want to take care of him. So, I stepped in and brought him back from near death 3 times. I bottle fed him, and kept him warm in my shirt. He went Everywhere with me for years. He was a delight, and the joy of my life. I miss him terribly. Below is a very neat story. I don't know who wrote it, but stories like this do give us hope that we may see our beloved pets again someday. Sometimes that's all that keeps me going. I hope you enjoy this story, and the "Rainbow Bridge" story also. They have helped me and others get through the tough times of losing our pets. I hope they help you also.

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.

He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed the sunlight.

When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"
"This is Heaven, sir," the man answered.

"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the man asked.

"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up."
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

"Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.

"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets."

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.
After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence.

As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

"Excuse me!" he called to the man. "Do you have any water?"

"Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in."
"How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to the dog.
"There should be a bowl by the pump."

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.
"This is Heaven," he answered.

"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said.

"The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."

"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's Hell."
"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"
"No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind."

My Tribute to Solomon, a Faithful Friend and Companion

"Shed no tears of sorrow for I am not gone, Believe in your heart, I will be there, Believe in your heart and I am there."

SOLOMON
Smart and Sassy Solomon!!!

Below are momories of Festus Wayne, Rocky, Solomon, and other precious Min Pin kids that we have loved and lost too soon. they fell through our hearts and into heaven.

FESTUS  BABY ROCKY

This is a tribute to one of the most wonderful puppies God ever gave my family to love. Festus Wayne was born April 22, one of a litter of 9 Miniature Pinschers. He had one sister, and 6 surviving brothers. He was the smallest in the litter, a tiny little stag red boy. I raised Festus on a bottle, taking him with me everywhere I went, sometimes nestled in my shirt so he would be warm. He came close to not making it several times. But he was a fighter, and pulled through.

When Festus was 3 months old, he had a reaction to his vaccination. He got really sick, and by the Grace of God, and a willng Veterinarian, we saved him. He weighed about 1 pound, 2 ounces when this ordeal was over. When I picked him up from the Vet, they told us what a miracle baby he was. But we knew that he was, and thanked God for saving his precious little life.

Festus went to live with my sister, and was loved and adored more than most dogs ever are. My sister took him with her in her purse most everywhere she went. Festus never met a stranger, and people just loved the little red bundle of joy.

Then in October, after playing outside, Festus had gotten into something toxic from the ground, and we lost him. Our hearts were broken.

Read the Rainbow Bridge Poem, below as our tribute to this wonderful little boy, and to all the wonderful little dogs that are given to us from God to love and care for. Festus touched so many lives with his wonderful disposition. We will never forget him, ever!!!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...

This is a picture of Festus right after he started to feel better when he had a reaction to his shot. The Vet said he had zero percent body fat.

This is one of his Mommy's favorite pictures of Festus. He was about 8 weeks old, and carrying a stick like he was soooooooo cool.

Festus loved to play outside. He was 11 weeks old in this picture, and weighed 1 pound 8 ounces.

FESTUS AND SPENCE
