BASIC INFORMATION ON PURCHASING A PUPPY FROM JACKPINS RANCH:

Thank you for stopping by. I have pictures of the puppies that are available posted at the bottom of this page. I try to update daily on availability of my puppies, but don't always get that done every day.

I can ship to most major airports using PetAir. PetAir is a pet booking agency that can book flights with most of the major Airports that ship pets out of Kansas City. I used to ship with Continental Airline, but they stopped shipping out of Kansas City. The shipping charge includes the Airfare, shipping crate, Vet check and Health certificate, and the travel expense to the airport. I do live 3 hours from the airport, so when possible I try to ship more than one puppy at a time. The cost to ship a puppy is an additional $325.00 due to the increasing costs of all the airlines.

My Min Pins, and all litters are registered with AKC. I sell my puppies mostly with limited AKC registration, but at times I make an exception to the right person to sell a puppy with full registration for an additional fee. If you are wanting a puppy to show or for breeding, be sure to discuss full registration with me when we discuss the price of your puppy, otherwise your puppy will come with limited AKC registration.

Puppies come with their tail docked, and dewclaws removed, however I no longer offer ear cropping. If you want to have your puppies ears cropped, you will have to have that done by your vet, or a vet in your area.

I am planning to place some of my adults in loving pet homes. I have some very nice dogs that I am looking for forever homes for. A little advice on buying a puppy, from the breeder:

1. I don't recommend anyone buying a puppy of any breed until you have researched the breed thoroughly, and if possible have spent time with or around a dog of that particular breed.

2. If you are looking for a couch potato, pass this breed by. They love their lap time, but a couch potato they are not.

3. If you are busy every day of the week, then don't get a puppy. Puppy's need someone that has time for them, and most behavior problems are simply caused by lack of attention, and training from the dogs owner.

4. Potty Training failure is the number one reason people give their dogs up. Have a plan before you get a puppy. Know what to do, and what not to do. I recommend continuing with the litter training that is well started when the puppy is at my house. For more information on litter training, go to the link below.
