JACKPINS RANCH

AVAILABLE ADULT'S

MINIATURE PINSCHERS

Lobo is a red male that was born October 10, 2006. He is a very active boy, and so handsome, he has his ears cropped and is micro-chipped. He has been a great stud here at Jackpins Ranch, he has produced a lot of gorgeous puppies. Lobo is very well leash trained, and crate trained. He gets along with other dogs, but I wouldn't recommend he go to a home with another intact male. I will require he be neutered before he leaves here, and the adoption fee would be $150.00 which will pay for the veterinary expenses for that surgery. I would be willing to ship Lobo to the right home for an additional $350.00, but would prefer his new family would be close enough to drive here and pick her up.

I have a few requirements for the family that wants to adopt Lobo, and they are listed below:

1. A fenced in yard is a requirement. It has to be a real fenced yard that goes around the house, that will allow him to be let outside to go potty without having to take him out on a leash and put him in a fenced in area. A doggie door is a really nice feature, so he could come back in when he is done outside. But this is not mandatory.

2. Most Min Pins live to chase cats. I doubt if I would approve a home that has a cat. That wouldn't be fair to the cat or Lobo.

3. I require that he is fed a high quality dog food, the his is taken to the vet for at least yearly check ups, yearly dental cleaning, and he will need to be on monthly heartworm preventative such as interceptor or heartguard. I don't recommend any table scraps, but an occasionally meal of meat, carrots, sweet potatoes, or plain lowfat yogurt would be acceptable.

4. My dogs have never been around small children, so I prefer a home with children at least 10 years of age or older. I might make an exception for a child that has been around Min Pins before, but it would be best if they end up in a home with older, or no children.

5. I also recommend the new owner invest in a basic obedience class to start shortly after they adopt Lobo as this will be a good experience for both the new owner, and Lobo. It will help him bond with and respect his new mom or dad, and it is also a good opportunity to socialize your new companion. It will help him learn how to meet new dogs and new people.

6. I recommend the new family spend some time getting to know about Cesar Milan, "The Dog Whisperer". He has some wonderful methods that really work great with Miniature Pinschers. Since his approach isn't "Dog Training", but "Dog Psychology".

If you feel you can meet these requirements and give this beautiful dog a good home, send me an e-mail, and we can go from there.

This is a fun picture of Elijah and Lobo. It looks like it should be titled "Hey Man, quit following me?".

Lobo looks like he is skipping or playing hop scotch in this picture!
